txtForward by ElectricPocket

From GizmoFusion:

I work 3 jobs. My regular 9-to-5 is at a big financial corporation and I run an indy record label and a candle company on the side. My 9-to-5 job does not always allow me to check my phone every three seconds. So the idea of being able to see my messages come through in my e-mail during the day was perfect. A heads up that someone is trying to get a hold of me. Awesome idea.

All in all, I’d say this app is a great find. It’s easy to use and is super convenient to have if you live a busy lifestyle.

Review: txtForward for BlackBerry

From Berryfication:

What txtForward does is sends a duplicate copy of SMS text and/or Pin messages to your choice of email accounts. It’s instant as well. I couldn’t detect any lag unless it’s in the 1/100th of a second range...

txtForward review

From KnowYourMobile:

txtForward is easy to set up and forget about and it just works; just as your BlackBerry lets you stay on top of email when you’re away from your desk, txtForward lets you stay on top of textand PIN messages when you don't have your phone in your hand.

If you don’t always have your BlackBerry glued to your hand, it’s phenomenally useful.

txtForward: SMS to Email Forwarding

From CrackBerry:

This may not be the case for everybody but for me, I used to rarely use SMS to communicate. There has only been a slight increase of SMS activity on my BlackBerry smartphone. What’s the reason? There isn’t actually any real reason that I can think of. Most of my wireless communication typically happens via email, phone calls, BlackBerry Messenger or through third party apps. After thinking about it, I may not use SMS that often due to the fact that once it’s deleted, it’s gone. Unless I choose to delete an email from my mailbox and handheld, I will still have the message backed up somewhere. If I’m at work, I’m usually managing my email and such from my desktop. Some departments in my company are actually banning cellphones, due to SMS abuse. Tsk tsk fellow employees - even without your BlackBerry on your desks, you can still use txtForward.

txtForward review

From TreoCentral:

Right off the bat, I don't do a LOT of texting. But, there are times when I receive texts and I'm busy or just don't wish to read text messages at the moment. Then there's times when I'm using another phone and friends text my Centro while I'm carrying my Treo 750. With txtForward, both of these situations are easily handled! txtForward allows forwarding of those missed texts to email!

How to forward text messages to your email inbox

From MobilitySite:

When I was asked to review TxtForward, I had to stop and think about why I would want my text messages forwarded to my email inbox. Isn’t text messaging handy enough without cluttering up an already overburdened email inbox?

TxtForward is an application that will automatically forward your text messages to any email address you specify. You can determine if you want inbound, outbound or both forwarded.
Scratching my head, I began to ponder the possible benefits of forwarded text messages to an email address. The more I thought about it, the more benefits I conceived.

txtForward review

From TechnoBrains:

Txtforward is an interesting concept developed by Electric Pocket. The program allows you to forward your SMS messages received to an email account or send an SMS to an email account. You might say what is the purpose of this and why not just use email to begin with?

Well, not everyone uses a smartphone which has email access. Most multifunctional phones have SMS messaging only to send someone a text based message. For this reason, you would typically receive a SMS message instead of an email on a smartphone or BlackBerry from someone that has SMS texting feature only. The other reason is an email and SMS uses different underlining infrastructure therefore sending a short SMS maybe cheaper than sending the same message via a carrier based email message. Depending on the service plan, you may have the ability to send a certain number of text messages for free per month.

The benefit of Txtforward is that the text message can be backed up for future reference when the information is important or applies to some future date plan. The other reason for using Txtforward is when you are in a situation where your phone is off but you are currently on your computer. Then you will still receive the message in a timely manner.

Review: txtForward for BlackBerry

From BlackBerryRocks:

txtForward is an application that forwards all your received and sent text messages to a chosen email.

This application is useful if you need to archive your text messages because you have a company phone, or just because you like to back things up. This is also great if you spend lots of time on a computer and email and you don’t always have your BlackBerry around.

It works flawlessly

Forwarding your text messages to your email

From FierceMobileIT:

I came across txtForward earlier today, which I thought was worth a mention here. As its name suggests, txtForward automatically forwards incoming or outgoing text messages to a specified email address. This could be a boon for the heavy text user who might just want a simple and reliable way to archive their messages. And in case you didn't realize, text messaging is apparently being used by teens to avoid taking phone calls by their parents.

Anyway, the unfortunate state of affair is that most smartphones simply do not treat text messages as important, and hence are generally limited in terms of message-level searching, as well as in their backup and archival.

Available for the BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, the BlackBerry version of the software worked flawlessly for me.

txtForward for BlackBerry review

If you are like me you send a minimum of 100 text messages per day.. And I am not one to delete.. :-)
So I needed a way to archive my messages and keep them for eternity! I know one can do a back-up of the phone and include messages but it does not give instant access if you want to re-read any of messages..
Then comes txtForward.. An application for the BB which can automatically forward text messages to an email. Simple? YES!

txtForward for BlackBerry review

For the BlackBerry users out in there in the audience, I’m sure you’ve been plagued with the disappearing messages because of the lack of available memory. Now, for email, this isn’t so much a problem as it’s most likely on your mail server, but for texts, those messages are gone, right? Wrong. Electric Pocket has an awesome new product for you to try out, and I swear by it.The concept is simple enough: If you receive a SMS (text) message, txtForward will automatically forward the message to an account of your choosing. A brilliant concept and does a very good job in executing it, with just a couple faults, yet nothing big enough to break the deal.

txtForward sends BlackBerry SMS messages to your email

Electric Pocket has launched txtForward for BlackBerry. txtForward automatically forwards SMS text messages received on your BlackBerry to any email address you supply. Using txtForward to send your incoming text messages to email can be useful in a number of different ways...

Some people want to backup all their text messages, so they have them safely stored away for future use. You can use txtForward to have emails sent to a gmail account, for example, where your messages will be archived forever.

Other people are more focused on email as they work through the day. Maybe they even leave their BlackBerry in their bag while they work at their desks. txtForward makes sure they don't miss an incoming SMS message, as they can have sent to their email inbox - so it shows up on their desktop PC, in Outlook for example.

Some folks have to juggle a couple of phones, maybe a work phone and a personal phone, or maybe they're swapping from a BlackBerry to an iPhone and have a new phone number. With txtForward running on the BlackBerry you won't miss any SMS text messages sent to one phone while you use the other, or if your friends don't have your new number yet.
