ZDNet's Mobile software Monday: SplashMoney for Windows Mobile

SplashMoney is an application that allows you to go online whenever you desire and retrieve your banking data wirelessly. The great thing is that SplashMoney is optimized for your Windows Mobile device display and all data appears in an easy-to-use format with many more functions than you can get via online access of your bank via a web browser.

Sit Up and Take Note: PhatNotes 5.2

PhatNotes is a program that runs from your Windows Mobile device and PC to allow you to manage notes, letters, emails and various other documents. The FindMe Location Sharing Service

The FindMe system only shares as much location data as you feel comfortable revealing on Facebook. Here’s how it works: Pop in your favorite bar, coffee shop, or other hang-out into the FindMe system on your smartphone and then post the location on your Facebook account. FindMe uses the information gathered from nearby cell phone towers to figure out if you are in or near one of your tagged locations. If you are, the FindMe app on your Facebook account displays your current location.

Review: Flipside For Blackberry, WOW!

Flipside delivered. Crisp clear highs and smooth balanced lows. I sat for a little while and enjoyed "Aja", while flipside played, I got a few emails, I went on the internet, put a few items in the calendar and all of this without a single hiccup or stutter from Flipside. This is a very stable app, I was surprised at how now manner of cache from the web browser or alerts for emails or the sending of emails seemed to interrupt the smooth steady play.

FlipSide doesn't play videos or stream radio or any of that, so on that level it can't compete with other titles like it. But again, outside of the two (i) products, I have never used a more slick advanced media player on any non Apple device.

Flipside for Blackberry Review

As an iPod owner I don't use my phone as a main device. RIM's media application is ever so slightly basic compared to Palm's offerings of Real Player or pTunes. Back on my Treo my MP3 player of choice is Busker from Electric Pocket. Why? Well I covered that in a review a while ago, but mainly because I love cover art (The main reason I own an iPod Touch is coverflow!). Now Flipside got me very excited, it's not a port of Busker; it's a brand new player from Electric Pocket.

First Look: SplashMoney for Mac

When it seems like you're broke no matter how much money you bring in, it might be a good idea to start tracking your financial transactions. Unfortunately, this simple task can appear needlessly complicated by many financial managing programs that overwhelm you with too many features. SplashMoney ready for Windows Mobile

Gas at the pump, 20 dollars. Dinner for two 18 dollars. New pair of shoes, 70 dollars. Knowing how much you spent in the day just by looking at your phone, priceless. Too many a times I would get nickel and dimes to death throughout the day. Gas here, eBay fee there and an ice cream there again. At the end of the month I would look at my bank account and be baffled at some of the spending I do aimlessly. Even my online mint account can only do so much because of the delay in updates to the site. Then I was introduced to Splash Money and things changed.

Review of SplashMoney for Windows Mobile

SplashMoney is a terrific application. It's easy to navigate-- great for the home user who just wants to record basic bank transactions... yet there are more complex features, which are easily navigated.

SplashMoney review

Compared to the money transaction program I’ve been using, SplashMoney is the ultimate supreme being, the granddaddy of the universe. Instead of a black and white ho hum presentation, SplashMoney opens in full Technicolor with spiffy icons and lives up to its name from the first impression. Delving deeper into SplashMoney, I found it to be a transaction recording program that probably has no equal.

SplashID - your personal memorizer of passwords

SplashID is like having a little personal database of tidbits of information you can lock up with a single password. Every time I set up a new account somewhere, like at a bank, or blog site, or public library, I enter the same data into SplashID. Then, when I can’t remember this information later (which happens almost every time I try to log in somewhere), all I have to do is open the application, enter my SplashID password, and wa-la, using a powerfully simple find feature I find the info I need, click the handy copy to clipboard button, and paste it where it needs to go.

Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine: SplashID 4 Review

I have been looking at several "e-wallet" apps lately, and SplashID V4 is the latest and greatest from SplashData. SplashData develops PIM-related mobile titles for Palm, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and RIM BlackBerry. Not too long ago, I also reviewed SplashPhoto. The Splash products are characterized by a straight-forward interface and useful features. SpashID is no different in this regard.

Resco IDGuard versus SplashID - What’s in your pocket?

SplashID has been the best-selling password manager for Palm OS for over 6 years.” SplashData even provided me with a reviewers guide and a serial number to help with my review. In going through both apps, I became more and more impressed with IDGuard’s abilities. At the same time It is evident that the SplashID interface /GUI has had more time to mature and has slightly more flexibility. Some graphical components are the same on both apps, lending some credence to the assertion by SplashData (for instance, the font selection dialogues are very similar in both apps - note that all skinning in these screen shots was done by SkinUI).

BBGeeks: SplashID for BlackBerry review

Overall, I would suggest picking up a copy of SplashID if you have a large number of passwords that you need to keep track of. Use it for both your personal and professional purposes and never be left scratching your head again thinking “I could have sworn I set that password to “Flibbertigibbet” (yes that is a real word, look it up).

SplashID review

In my digital life, SplashId is one of my essential applications. When I did the change from win to mac, one of the first things I checked was if there was a mac version of SplashId. That just shows how dependant I am on the program, and it is all about just working. As a mac/palm user that is my main priority! So, download the trial and try it. I have no problem recommending it, and will give it a 5 out of 5 rating. I would also like to recommend other SplashID products, like Splash Photo and Splash Shopper. These are other essentials that i have on my Treo, and that i wouldn't be without.
