BugMe! Stickies Pro Review

From Android RundownBugMe! took me back to a less cluttered time… the UI was great. It invoked stickies (obviously) and corkboard. The program allowed me to create stickies by writing on squared yellow “paper” and to populate these newly created stickies on my device home page.
The ease of entry is where I think BugMe shines. I could enter data with the installed keyboard, but also had the option of writing with my finger. Now for me, this is huge; it put back the “impromptu” into impromptu note taking.

Review: BugMe! Stickies Pro for iPhone and iPad

From Radiant ReviewsThere are many different colored post it notes that you can choose from.  You can also choose to take your own picture and use that as your note background which is pretty cool.  You can also assign a particular note a due date, so it will remind you and the note will appear letting you know that your appointment is coming up.  It works via push notifications, and it works extremely well.  I have been very pleased with its overall functionality.

BugMe! updated, now universal app for iPhone and iPad

From TiPb:

BugMe!, the “Original Sticky Note App,” has received a nice little update and now offers a universal binary for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. In case you are unfamiliar with BugMe!, here is a quick description:
BugMe! for iOS lets users jot quick notes and doodles – with their finger as the pen – just like a digital sticky note. BugMe! also offers keyboard support, allowing users to type longer notes they would otherwise be scribbling with their finger. BugMe!’s notes can be organized for reference, and even shaken into place. Users can set an alarm time on each note and BugMe! will sound the alarm and show a reminder when the task is due. The BugMe! Badges display how many of these notes are now due.
The update is already available in the App Store, free for previous users and only $1.99 for new users. Check out the update and let us know how you like using it on the iPad!

Anyone who works for a living, runs a household, is a student and so on has used a “sticky note” a time or two. Quick Look: Bug Me! For iPad

From Just Another Mobile Monday:

I am a huge fan of Post-it Notes.  I use the for just about everything, and the little slips of colored paper literally litter my office.  So, the opportunity to clutter my iPad with dozens of colored doodles and reminders is far too tempting for me to avoid.  Bug Me makes it just as easy to scribble a quick note to yourself as a regular Post-in Note.  The fact that you can also make them infinitely more legible, and even attach alarms to these notes, makes them even more useful than regular Post-it Notes.

Quick App: BugMe! for Palm Pre

From PreCentral.net:

Enter BugMe! ($1.99 in the App Catalog), an application that functions like the memo apps of old that allows you to quickly create a note, set an alarm for that note, and be done.  Preset alarm intervals help to speed up the process, giving you options such as top of the hour, five minutes, thirty minutes, tomorrow morning, and so on, making the process of entering a note and configuring an alarm vastly more efficient than using the calendar app for the same purpose.

The top iPad apps for getting things done

From Appolicious:

To-do iPad apps can be simple, and sometimes that's all we need to keep on top of our tasks. Bug Me! (99 cents) looks like a corkboard on which you can post sticky notes (by typing, writing with your finger, or drawing.) You can then email the note to yourself or post to Twitter. There are also options for saving a note to your home screen as an icon (the note must first be uploaded to Bug Me!'s server), or to your photos so you can use it as your background. Bug Me! has alarms, but these only work when you've got Internet connectivity, so don't use for anything really important.

BugMe! for iPad

From Planet iPhones:

For those who are very busy, it's recommended that you use the note on your home screen, so you won't forget what needs to be done. So BugMe is a very useful app to bug you with your saved notes, providing a unique way of taking notes. And for only 99 cents it is an app you can’t afford to be without.

BugMe! for iPhone and iPad

From BusinessWeek and Macworld:

BugMe succeeds in providing users with creative ways to take notes and select from a variety of ways to, well, bug themselves. This requires a few workarounds on the programming side, but the app is notable for performing well and providing a unique note-taking experience.

BugMe for iPhone and iPad

From Macworld:

Electric Pocket’s BugMe is an unusual app. Its home screen features an image of a cork board, upon which you post sticky notes, which you can create using a variety of tools. Sticky notes on a corkboard? That’s a mixed visual metaphor, for sure, but it’s also a signifier: you can do a whole lot more with BugMe’s digital stickies than you can with the paper ones, or the Mac’s Stickies program.

[App Review] BugMe! Ink Notes & Alarms for iPad

From MobilePadNews:

BugMe! takes the post-it note to the next level with notifications. Be it you'd like to share these notes with a -lot- of people, it can be sent to Twitter. If you want to share it with a friend privately, they can be shared via e-mail. Say you really are proud of your post-it note masterpiece? You can save it to your photo gallery or even your home screen. Lastly, alarms can be set up to remind yourself of a particular note. This feature now works even when BugMe! isn't running, which is a welcome update. BugMe now supports push notifications so you can get reminded at all times.

For those late-nite notes, BugMe! has been a god-send. I personally love the fact I can messily doodle my notes up and ship them off to myself for posterity via e-mail or even twitter.
