GoodReader iPhone app review

From iPhoneSpies:

There are other file reader apps out there, what makes Good Reader different however is its ability to read every file that Safari reads from Office files, PDFs, iWork and .jpg’s. What really makes this app stand out is its ability to read very large files, larger than 200Mb. Most other apps can’t read files more than 50Mb, which is only a quarter of what GoodReader is capable of.

SplashID iPhone app review

From iPhoneSpies:

I sometimes forget a password to one of my online accounts, and because I was lazy I didn’t write it down or save it somewhere safe. If you’re like me then SplashID will come in handy, all your passwords and sensitive info can be stored securely and accessed right from your iPhone. If you have multiple bank accounts, PIN numbers, logins, etc. this app is a must. It will make your life a little more convenient, and hair pulling a little less frequent.

SplashID (iPhone & iPod Touch)

From Sven on Tech:

I have been using this SplashID App for about 2 months now and to tell you the truth at first I thought that I wouldn’t use it all that much once I got all the info plugged into it. But since having this app I have found myself referring back to Splash ID where all my personal info is safely tucked away just for me constantly. There isn’t much that I don’t like about SplashID. In fact, I have found it very difficult to to find any cons for this review!

File Magic makes me want to dropkick Dropbox and iDisk

From PalmAddicts:

File Magic is a iPhone app and desktop app from the minds at SplashData. It uses a client/server system just like SplashID, where you connect your iPhone to a WiFi access point on the same network as your server, and then the files you put on the File Magic server. When I launch File Magic on my iPhone and connect to the Mac, it starts downloading any of the pictures, Word docs, PDFs, music, and more right to my phone. This makes things a lot easier, especially if you have data issues or don't trust 3rd party services with your data. Another great feature is that you can share your documents via WiFi with another iPhone, which has come in really hand when sending pictures of what our kids want for Christmas presents. Your only limitation is the size of your iPhone.

iSing - Sing or Judge on American Idol Type iPhone App

From Connect with your Teens:

The iSing app is fun and can be enjoyed by all ages. Families can listen together, just as they do when they watch American Idol. I highly doubt that I will ever attempt to add a song to iSing because even my family would probably give me a thumbs down. But I am having fun both listening and voting. Some of the singers are actually very good. Especially now, with a few months to go until Idol begins again, you can replicate the experience with iSing.

File Magic for iPhone review

From TheiLife.com:

The iPhone is a powerful tool. As app developers get more creative, it’s slowly displacing all the other stuff we’re used to carrying around. It started with the iPod and PDA, then moved on to our handheld gaming devices and portable DVD players, and now it’s eliminating the store loyalty cards from our wallets and the car keys from our pockets.

Another entirely natural target, even in the days when iPhones and iPod touches held just a few gigabytes, has been the humble flash drive, and File Magic aims to make it obsolete.

Review: iSing lets you audition and judge singers from your iPhone

From Geek.com:

People watch singing competitions on TV for two reasons: to see if any of the singers could be the next super star; and to see what the judges have to say. All over the world variants of Idol (American Idol, Pop Idol, etc.) are at the top of the viewer charts, so it was only a matter of time before someone put that power in the hands of iPhone users.

In iSing you are the judge of who can sing and who can’t. Also, if you are one of the fortunate who “think” you can sing, you can submit your 30-second audition for all of the iSing users to rate.
