BugMe brings sticky notes to your home screen

From Macworld:

Electric Pocket, the maker of apps such as MailTones and PhoneFace, has brought its note-taking application BugMe to the iPhone. Already available for the Android and BlackBerry platforms, the app lets iPhone and iPod touch users create digital sticky notes with their fingers.

There is no handwriting recognition involved; you just scrawl the note onto the screen and it stays there, ready to remind you that you need to get that task done. The app can use push notifications to sound an alarm at a given time, if you so choose.

What’s more, BugMe can even display your notes on the iPhone’s home screen. Since the iPhone famously doesn’t allow third-party apps to run in the background, BugMe achieves this feat by changing its icon—the only presence it has on the home screen when it’s not running—to display a tiny version of any note you choose.
