iPads and GoodReader on Delta Airlines
From AppModo:Did you know Delta Airlines is replacing flight manuals with iPads and GoodReader? Yes, it’s true! Airlines are providing pilots with iPads and GoodReader – especially since GoodReader was originally designed as an app for pilots! The company president was contracted to develop a suite of apps for pilots (navigation, wind calculation, document viewing, etc.) but the project funding was canceled when it was only 20% done. He liked the direction of the document viewer so much that he bought it for himself and continued building it – and GoodReader was the result!
